San Juan Fencing Services was founded in 2017 by Tom Hayes as an extension of his wildlife control service, providing properties with fencing solutions that addressed wildlife-related challenges. As our business grew, we recognized the growing demand for fence installations. In response, we decided to separate our wildlife control services from our fencing work.

San Juan Fencing Services began as San Juan Wildlife Services. After seven years of serving Southwest Colorado communities, we found that fencing was another way for us to make a difference. Initially, we wanted to help landowners exclude large wildlife from their properties, but over time, we built a strong crew and a passion for fencing that combines our extensive background in wildlife protection with contracting services. We are now the premier rock drilling fence specialists in the Southwest Colorado region. We also offer fence welding to create strong, durable fences that withstand harsh elements and wildlife contact throughout Southwest Colorado.

We also use the best tools to ensure your fence lasts for years with unfaltering security.
We aim to make fence installation as easy as possible. After you contact us for a consultation, we'll walk you through the process of obtaining your appropriate permit and getting approval from your homeowner's association. We'll also call 811 for you to have a facility operator mark your utility lines, then do a pre-installation walk to ensure we're on the same page about your new fence.
We can remove an old fence at an additional cost if necessary. We encourage open communication throughout the process to ensure the final product meets your every expectation.
